THE RED SEAL
The Red Seal Program (officially known as the Inter-provincial Standards Red Seal Program) forms a partnership between the provincial, territorial and federal governments.
Its goal is to provide skilled workers with mobility across Canada by encouraging the standardization of training and certification programs.
While chefs already enjoy great mobility in their profession, some employers will require this designation as a condition of employment. To obtain the Red Seal, a student must write a provincial exam. Our diploma does not provide this certification.
